This article is a simple guide on how to set up the bridge and connect NetSuite to Google Offline Conversions Tracking.

Add the Google Ads Account first

  1. Head over to the left sidebar and click on Google Suite.
  2. Click Google Ads Account.
  3. Click on Add New to connect the Ads Account.
  4. A Google screen will ask you to login with the account you'd like to use.
  5. Authorize LeadsBridge to access to your Google Ads Account information.
  6. Once done, you'll be taken back to the LeadsBridge app.

How to set up the bridge step-by-step tutorial

Before you start

  1. Head over to the left sidebar and click on Google Suite.
  2. Click Google Offline Conversions Tracking.
  3. You'll be taken to the Google Offline Conversions Tracking section of your account.
  4. Click on Add New.
  5. You'll be taken to the first step of the bridge creation.

Step 1: Account destination

  1. Select the Google Ad Account you want to assign the Google Offline Conversions Tracking.
  2. Select the Facebook Business Manager associated.
  3. Click Next.

Step 2: Choose your Google Offline Conversions Tracking settings

  1. Pick an existing Custom Conversion or choose to create a new one from the drop-down.
  2. In case of a new one, enter the name for your Google Offline Conversions Tracking (this will be visible inside your Business Manager).
  3. Add some labels to identify your bridge later in LeadsBridge.
  4. Click Next.

Step 3: Setup your NetSuite source

  1. Choose NetSuite as source of your contacts.
  2. Select to use an existing integration or to create a new one.
  3. Click Next.

You may skip the integration part if your integration has been already configured.

Integrate NetSuite with LeadsBridge

  1. Type in the name you'd like to call your integration to recognize it later.
  2. Enter URL, Account ID, Consumer key, Consumer secret, Access Token and Access Secret to connect your NetSuite with LeadsBridge.
  3. NetSuite creation
  4. To setup the integration correctly, only during the initial configuration you'll have to create an integration inside NetSuite.

    In order to get your URL and Account ID you should follow the steps below:
    1. Log into your NetSuite account as Administrator
    2. Go to Setup » Company » Company Information
    3. Your URL should look like one of the following cases:
    • https://AccountID.suitetalk.api.netsuite.com
    • https://AccountID.app.netsuite.com
    • If those URL formats doesn't work, go back to the Company Information page and check the value of CUSTOMER CENTER LOGIN which contains the URL but use only the first part of it: https://XXX.netsuite.com where XXX depends on your account region.
  5. The Account ID value can be found in the example above
After that, in order to get your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret, you should create an Integration inside NetSuite by follow the steps below:
  1. Log into your NetSuite account as Administrator
  2. Go to Setup » Integration » Manage Integrations » New
  3. Inside the Name field type a descriptive name, for example LeadsBridge Integration
  4. Keep State as Enabled
  5. Check the Token-Based Authentication checkbox in the Authentication section
  6. Then click on Save
  7. After that, Consumer Key and Consumer Secret will be displayed, copy them.
  8. Go back into your LeadsBridge Integration and paste your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret in their corresponding fields
To be able to create an Access Token you should enable your NetSuite account with Token-Based Authentication by following the steps below:
  1. Log into your NetSuite account as Administrator
  2. Go to Setup » Company » Enable Features
  3. Click on SuiteCloud sub tab
  4. Scroll down to Manage Authentication section
  5. Check the TOKEN-BASED AUTHENTICATION checkbox
  6. Save your changes
After this you should assign a role to the user’s account you are using inside LeadsBridge by following the steps below:
  1. Log into your NetSuite account as Administrator
  2. Go to Setup » Users/Roles » Manage Users
  3. Under the Name column click on the user’s name you want to give access
  4. Then click on Edit button under the user’s name
  5. Go into the Access sub-tab at the bottom
  6. Then click on the Add dropdown button under Roles, we recommend selecting Full Access or other similar roles
  7. Click again on Add to assign the role to the user
  8. After that, click on Save
Now we should create the Token for this user by following the steps below:
  1. Go to Setup » Users/Roles » Access Tokens » New
  2. Select an Application Name
  3. Under User select the user you assigned the Role in the step before
  4. Inside Role select the one you gave to the user in the step before, for example Full Access
  5. Under Token Name you can give a descriptive name to the Token you are creating
  6. Then click on Save button
  7. Now you should be able to see your Token ID and Token Secret
  8. Copy your NetSuite Token ID and paste it inside LeadsBridge Access Token field
  9. Finally, copy your NetSuite Token Secret and paste it inside LeadsBridge Access Secret field
  • Click Next.
  • Contacts segmentation

    1. Select the segment you'd like to use as the source for your contacts.
    2. You may also add filter conditions by clicking the Source Filter button:
    • Add conditions to filter contacts and tailor specific segments.
    • Remember that source data will be processed only when all conditions added are met.
  • Click Next.
  • Fields Mapping

    Here you can map your NetSuite information with your destination fields.

    You'll see a field name with the destination integration's logo at the top, this indicates the name of the field on Google Offline Conversions Tracking.

    Underneath there's a box where you may add the information you'd like to send.

    • Check each of the Google Offline Conversions Tracking fields available and match the data you wish to sync from NetSuite.
    • Map as many fields as possible to achieve higher performing data matching to people on Google.
    • Please remember to specify these mandatory fields to create the Event Set:
      • Event Name: the event type;
      • Event Time: when the conversion occurred;
      • Event Value: the value of the conversion, like the amount spent;
      • Transaction Currency.
    • You may also leave blank the box of a field's information you don't want to send through.
    Custom Data

    Custom Data can be used for creating segments in your reporting or building custom audiences next.

    Custom Data is not used for matching offline events to people on Facebook.

    1. Add the Custom Data custom field from the dropdown at the bottom.
    2. Select one or more information you'd like to add to your conversion inside the Custom Data field, for example the Category and the Location of a customer's order.

    Once accomplished your desired outcome, click Next.

    Audience Sources

    Here you can Edit the source created, Delete it or Add Another Source to combine different sources into your Google Offline Conversions Tracking.

    If you'd like to add other source data, please click Add Another Source and repeat the Step 3 to setup your new source.

    Once done, click Next and head to the last step.

    Step 4: Summary

    1. Before proceeding, please check the information recap.
    2. Choose if you'd like to run a Simulation or you're ready to go Live.
    • Simulation mode provides you with the opportunity to elaborate source data excluding the data sync process. The outcome is a report in order to verify the information processed.
    • Live mode process source data and sync information with Google Offline Conversions Tracking as the outcome. Activate this when you're ready to go live.
  • Click Publish to start syncing your contacts.
  • That's all! Congratulations.

    Your bridge will now start the sync process to gather all the information. Once ready, it will be synced and updated automatically.
