Integrate Twilio with LeadsBridge



Twilio is a cloud communications platform. It allows to send and receive text messages using its web service.

In this article, you'll learn how to connect your LeadsBridge account with Twilio.

Connect Twilio integration

Before you start

  1. Head over to the left sidebar and click on the Create new Bridge button
  2. Select your integrations in the selectors
  3. Click on the Continue button at the bottom right

Authorize Twilio integration

Setup your Twilio integration

  1. Click on Connect Twilio
  2. Click on Create new integration to connect your Twilio (or select an existing one from the dropdown if you already connected it)
  3. A popup wil be opened where you can authorize the Twilio integration
  4. Fill API Key, Account ID, Send SMS from, Lead Notifications to (Namephonenumber> or phonenumber) field to connect Twilio with LeadsBridge
  5. Click on the Authorize button
  6. You can choose a name for this Twilio and LeadsBridge integration (you can also edit it later)
  7. Once done, click on Continue button and you will get back to the bridge experience where you could choose additional integration settings
  8. Now that your Twilio is connected, you can continue with the set-up of your bridge

How to get API Key, Account ID, Send SMS from, Lead Notifications to (Namephonenumber> or phonenumber)

To find your Account ID and your Access Token just follow these steps:
- Go to your Twilio Login Page
- On the Dashboard page you will see your Account ID and your Access Token
- Copy and paste them inside your Leadsbridge integration. ( Learn more)

How do I set up the SMS text?

The body of the SMS text can be defined in the Lead Ads bridge. To edit it, you should go to the Destination step of the bridge. - Select the Bridge that you want to edit - Inside the Destination step you can edit the SMS text You can also add some short codes to use the data received from Lead.

I want to receive a lead notification in my Inbox, what can I do?

Just activate the Email Receipt option on the Destination step of your bridge.

I want to receive a lead notification via SMS, what can I do?

If you are looking for a simple notification to your mobile phone, you'll just need to enter your phone number in the Lead Notification field of your integration.
