Connect Helpscout to ClickSend SMS with LeadsBridge

In this article, you'll learn how to set up the bridge and connect Helpscout to ClickSend SMS using LeadsBridge.

How to set up your bridge step-by-step tutorial

Before you start

  1. Head over to the left sidebar and click on Bridges
  2. You'll be taken to the Bridges section of your account
  3. Click on the Add New button
  4. You'll be taken to the first step of the bridge creation

Step 3: Setup your ClickSend SMS destination

  1. Type in the integration's name in the dedicated field
  2. Enter API Username, Username, API Password, API Key, Send SMS from and Lead Notifications to (Namephonenumber> or phonenumber) to connect ClickSend SMS with LeadsBridge
  3. Please follow these steps in order to find the API Username and API Password:
    1. Log in to your ClickSend SMS account
    2. Click on Dashboard » Account
    3. Add/Edit Subaccounts
    4. Copy/Paste in the LeadsBridge's integration
  4. To fill out the other integration's field
    1. In the "Reply-To," (Optional) field enter the email address that the leads will reply to.
    2. Enter in the "Send SMS from" the phone number that sends the SMS - it should contain a maximum of 11 characters and no spaces.
    3. In the "Lead Notifications to" field enter the phone number where do you want to send the leads; if you want to send an SMS to the lead’s phone number, enter the string @@phonenumber@@.

  5. Click on the Next button
  6. You'll now be able to select the destination segment to send your leads to
  7. You may choose to receive an email receipt for each incoming lead.
    • Type the address(es) where you'd like to receive the receipt
    • You may also modify the Subject line of the email
  8. Click on the Next button

That's all! Congratulations.

You'll be redirected to the bridges section of your account with a green success message at the top right of the page and your bridge will now be active.
