In this article, you'll learn how to set up the bridge and connect NetSuite to Partner Lead Service using LeadsBridge.

How to set up your bridge step-by-step tutorial

Before you start

  1. Head over to the left sidebar and click on Bridges
  2. You'll be taken to the Bridges section of your account
  3. Click on the Add New button
  4. You'll be taken to the first step of the bridge creation

Step 1: Bridge's Main information

  1. Choose a name for your bridge (this will only be visible inside LeadsBridge)
  2. You may add labels to help you identify your bridge later
  3. Choose NetSuite as the source for your bridge
  4. Choose Partner Lead Service as the destination
  5. Click on the Next button

Step 2: Setup your NetSuite source

  1. Type in the name you'd like to call your integration
  2. Enter URL, Account ID, Consumer key, Consumer secret, Access Token and Access Secret to connect your NetSuite with LeadsBridge
  3. To setup the integration correctly, only during the initial configuration you'll have to create an integration inside NetSuite.

    In order to get your URL and Account ID you should follow the steps below:
    1. Log into your NetSuite account as Administrator
    2. Go to Setup » Company » Company Information
    3. Your URL should look like one of the following cases:
    • https://AccountID.suitetalk.api.netsuite.com
    • https://AccountID.app.netsuite.com
    • If those URL formats doesn't work, go back to the Company Information page and check the value of CUSTOMER CENTER LOGIN which contains the URL but use only the first part of it: https://XXX.netsuite.com where XXX depends on your account region.
  4. The Account ID value can be found in the example above
After that, in order to get your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret, you should create an Integration inside NetSuite by follow the steps below:
  1. Log into your NetSuite account as Administrator
  2. Go to Setup » Integration » Manage Integrations » New
  3. Inside the Name field type a descriptive name, for example LeadsBridge Integration
  4. Keep State as Enabled
  5. Check the Token-Based Authentication checkbox in the Authentication section
  6. Then click on Save
  7. After that, Consumer Key and Consumer Secret will be displayed, copy them.
  8. Go back into your LeadsBridge Integration and paste your Consumer Key and Consumer Secret in their corresponding fields
To be able to create an Access Token you should enable your NetSuite account with Token-Based Authentication by following the steps below:
  1. Log into your NetSuite account as Administrator
  2. Go to Setup » Company » Enable Features
  3. Click on SuiteCloud sub tab
  4. Scroll down to Manage Authentication section
  5. Check the TOKEN-BASED AUTHENTICATION checkbox
  6. Save your changes
After this you should assign a role to the user’s account you are using inside LeadsBridge by following the steps below:
  1. Log into your NetSuite account as Administrator
  2. Go to Setup » Users/Roles » Manage Users
  3. Under the Name column click on the user’s name you want to give access
  4. Then click on Edit button under the user’s name
  5. Go into the Access sub-tab at the bottom
  6. Then click on the Add dropdown button under Roles, we recommend selecting Full Access or other similar roles
  7. Click again on Add to assign the role to the user
  8. After that, click on Save
Now we should create the Token for this user by following the steps below:
  1. Go to Setup » Users/Roles » Access Tokens » New
  2. Select an Application Name
  3. Under User select the user you assigned the Role in the step before
  4. Inside Role select the one you gave to the user in the step before, for example Full Access
  5. Under Token Name you can give a descriptive name to the Token you are creating
  6. Then click on Save button
  7. Now you should be able to see your Token ID and Token Secret
  8. Copy your NetSuite Token ID and paste it inside LeadsBridge Access Token field
  9. Finally, copy your NetSuite Token Secret and paste it inside LeadsBridge Access Secret field
  • Select the segment you'd like to use as the source for your leads
  • Click on the Next button
  • Step 3: Setup your Partner Lead Service destination

    1. Type in the integration's name in the dedicated field
    2. Enter to connect Partner Lead Service with LeadsBridge
    3. Click on the Next button
    4. You'll now be able to select the destination segment to send your leads to
    5. You may choose to receive an email receipt for each incoming lead.
      • Type the address(es) where you'd like to receive the receipt
      • You may also modify the Subject line of the email
    6. Click on the Next button

    Step 4: Fields Mapping

    Here you'll be able to map your source information with your destination fields.

    You'll see a field name with the destination integration's logo at the top, this indicates the name of the field on Partner Lead Service.

    Underneath there's a box where you may add the information you'd like to send.

    • Check each of the Partner Lead Service fields available
    • Match the information you wish to pass along from NetSuite
    • You may type the information manually and pass them as a static value
    • Use the functions to customize information like reformatting dates and times or modifying text, phone numbers and so on
    • You may also leave blank the box of a field's information you don't want to send through

    Custom Fields

    1. If you'd like to add more fields, just look at the bottom of the page
    2. Head over the "Don't find a CRM custom field?" box
    3. Select the field you'd like to add from the dropdown list
    4. Click the Add Custom Field button
    5. The field will appear above
    6. Add the desired information, as you did with the other ones

    Once accomplished your desired outcome, just click Next and head to the last step.

    Step 5: Test

    In this final step, you'll be able to send a lead from LeadsBridge to test if the configuration works properly.

    1. To create a new test lead, fill in the required information when prompted
    2. Click Test Now
    3. To test with a real lead, switch the toogle to "Test with existing lead".
    4. Click Sync Now along the lead you'd like to send
    5. If you did everything right the button will turn green, meaning your lead was synced successfully and the integration is ready
    6. Click Finish to save your settings and turn active your bridge

    That's all! Congratulations.

    You'll be redirected to the bridges section of your account with a green success message at the top right of the page and your bridge will now be active.
